Pre-season training begins for our junior age groups early February and will run for eight weeks to the end of March.

We will be running with two groups, Foundation for combined under-9 and under-11 and Performance for under-13 and under-15 also training together.

There is a £20 cash charge per player which covers eight sessions payable to the course leader at the first session. Details as follows:

Foundation – under-9 and under-11 from Sunday, February 2nd to March 23rd at Bury Grammar School Boys sports hall, 10am to 12 noon.

Performance – under-13 and under-15 from Tuesday, February 4th to March 25th at PA Cricket Indoor Centre, Bury, 6pm to 7pm across two lanes.

The course leaders will be Andy Kerr for Foundation age groups and Mark Crowther for the 13s/15s.

We would recommend pre-booking with Andy (07386 749403) and Mark (07734 435261) as space is very limited and a knowledge of numbers/skill levels will greatly help with planning of training.

Greenmount Cricket Club are pleased to announce the arrival of four new signings to the senior squad for the forthcoming campaign.

Cameron Mapstone, top order batsman and previously captain at Droylsden CC; Ismael Patel, an all-rounder from Astley Bridge CC; Jacob Norris a wicketkeeper from Horwich CC and Evan Dobson, top order batsman from Earby CC.

All four players have demonstrated huge enthusiasm and passion to be involved in the Greenmount journey and we look forward to seeing them all in action.

Senior pre-season practice starts on Wednesday, March 5th and will run for eight weeks until the start of the season.
