Half-term is over for the schools, March starts next weekend and rumours of double-digit temperatures suggest that we are getting there!
Here’s what’s in the news this week at the Mount…
CRICKET
Senior training switches venue and day this week: Saturday, 28th February at the new indoor facility at Darwen Cricket Club – 2pm to 4pm
Juniors: Continue at St Catherine’s Academy but Sunday, 1st March sees the first of our sessions for the Under-9 age group from 9am to 10am.
- Under-11s continue at 4pm
- Under 13s-15s continue at 5.30pm
Girls Under-9s: 9am at Woodhey School: New players are always welcome.
Last week we narrowly missed out on a first win, being edged out by Edgworth by a slim 10-run margin.
This week the girls will gain more match experience against Bradshaw on Friday, 27th February as they continue to chase that first taste of victory!
LANKY LANKY – COMING SOON

One of the inaugural features on the site will be an interview with John Stevens regarding Greenmount CC following our triple promotion last year.
It’s great to see the club is on the radar!
