The cricket season is now well and truly put to bed as the post-season groundwork has been completed and the playing square is now roped off for the winter.
WE now turn out attention to more indoor activities and we hope to see you all at some point as there will be a variety of events in store in the coming months.
QUIZ NIGHT – 17th OCTOBER
Back by popular demand! Dynamic quizmaster Ian Senior makes a welcome return to the Cabin on Friday, 17th October for our first quiz night of the autumn.
Tickets are just £5 per person in cash from the bar and you can form a team of maximum six players to enter.
Start time is 7.30pm prompt but why not make a night of it, get down earlier and have your evening meal at Audrey’s Kitchen who will be offering a great variety of choice all at excellent value for money.

AUDREY’S KITCHEN
Last Sunday’s beef brisket with Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings was such a hit that we sold out.
Don’t worry, we’ll be cooking up plenty more this weekend with roast potatoes, mash, honey carrots and cauliflower cheese.
Opening hours: Audrey’s Kitchen will be open again from 4pm Friday as usual – pies, curries, cakes and much more waiting for you. Thanks again for your amazing support!
We are proud to host our first MacMillan Coffee morning on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon.
A table full of delicious cakes (baked by us and kindly donated by others) will be on offer – all proceeds going to MacMillan Cancer Support.
Everyone is welcome – pop in for a brew and a slice of cake and help us raise as much as we can.
LATEST NEWS FROM THE BAR
As everyone will surely know by now, the car park will be closed this week while we upgrade the surface.
The weather forecast is looking kind so we have chosen a good week to get this important work done!
Over the week you are likely to see a few new faces behind the bar following s successful recruitment drive. Please make them feel welcome as they go through their first taster shifts.
We are sticking with the usual opening hours from the summer until further notice. Opening at 3pm daily Monday to Thursday; 2pm Friday and 12 noon Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, not only are we the home of cricket champions, the club has been listed in the 53rd edition of CAMRA’s flagship publication The Good Beer Guide.
This is a brilliant achievement and is an excellent reflection on the high standards on show across all aspects of out bar.
So make a point of coming in and raising a glass to salute the club.
