Keeping up a Greenmount tradition of brothers representing the club is Noah Birtwistle who has been selected for the Lancashire Under-12 team following the success of his sibling Max.
Noah, currently at St Gabriel’s School, Bury and was unlucky last season when he got through his first Lancashire trial only to break his collarbone playing football.
He missed half the campaign but rounded it off in style by captaining the Lancashire Junior League inter-league side before winning both the batting and bowling awards.
Following that success he was selected for the winter training program with Lancashire and then was selected for the team for this summer season following the two stage trial during May.
